The Risk (Briar U#2)- Elle Kennedy

Have you ever hyped a book so much that your a little afraid it might not meet your expectations well this is not the case The Risk is for sure one of the best reads of 2019. Brenna and Jake stole the other half of my heart (Fitz and Summer own the other). It’s honestly so good my face hurt of how much I smile throughout this entire story.

This Risk tells the story about our self declared bad girl Brenna Jensen, a Briar U student and daughter of the hockey head coach. And our hero Jake Connelly, Harvard student and captain of the hockey team what happens when a fake relationship becomes tho opposites becomes a little too real?

The Risk is definitely another score from Elle Kennedy, I wanted to read about Jake and Brenna since they were introduced in the chase, it did not dissapoint it was so good. It had great writing, the banter was on point, it was sexy and so much more, I was smitten since the first page all the way through the last. I was a little sad once it was over. What I love about this series is that Elle kept the essence of the characters in their own story, sometimes side characters caught your attention but once you read about them they lack the charm we fell in love with not this series the characters past and present kept that charm going.

Overall this is a must read for me a 2019 best read winner in my opinion. If you love sexy hockey
players and a kickass heroine add to the mix a sexy and funny story and you have the Risk, check it
out you won’t be disappointed. A side note cannot wait for the next installment, I also need Brooks Weston book he deserves one.

KILL SWITCH(Devil’s Night#3) - Penelope Douglas

You know those series that are just so good that waiting for them is like torture because the story and characters just stay with you and don’t let go, well this series is that for me and we finally have in our hands or reading device the newest installment of the Devil’s Night and for those waiting for Damon this his story.

Damon was a character that appeal to most readers when he was introduced in Corrupt but i gotta say I love all the horseman but with Damon I never felt that pull as much as the other he was always my least favorite but his story was something that I was waiting to read.

Kill Switch was a total skock, Damon and winter story was not I expected. Penelope Douglas really deliver with story and in true Penelope fashion you keep wainting more. One thing I can say Damon was definitely not what  I expected him to be, he is not a villain but human that really went through a lot and was hurt, I understood so many of his actions and attitudes it was really an eye opener to his character and many twist throughout the book. And let me tell you what a twis did Penelope Douglas deliver.

I can’t go into details because this one of the stories that is a spoiler from finish to end. But read it, if your a fan of the series definitely pick it up it has so many twist and amazing stuff. I cannot wait for Will story i’m Itching to have it.

Huge Deal(21 Wall Street #3)- Lauren Layne

You know those books that feel like a warm blanket in a chilly rainy day that just feels so warm and you don’t want to let go or get up for that matter well this book and the whole series was that blanket.  Lauren Layne deliver so much with the series the romance, the banter and the sexiness you have it all in Huge Deal and each installment in this series 21 Wall Street.

Here we have the story of Kennedy and Kate. The opposites not so opposite as I like to describe them the story was just great from start to finish. Not to say it didn’t have its moments because it did at so,e point we had to deal with Kennedy and other with Kate. But in the love of romance it took time but this wolf was definitely tamed.

This story has all the the good things i look in a romance, it was funny, not too cheesy and sexy. It has everything I love on Lauren Layne book. If you are a fan of the series and of the author or just love a good story pick it up. This story can be read as a stand-alone but definitely check out the series their so good.

Red, white & and Royal Blue- Casey Mcquiston (ARC Review)

Title: Red, White & Royal Blue
Author: Casey Mcquiston
Release Date: May 14, 2019

Have you ever fell in love with a book description at first sight, well I did, especially because it has two of my favorite plots President Son and Royalty plus with a little twist to the story both protagonist  are male,  instant one click

Red, white & royal blue was a very nice surprise when I found it. I mean,  just read the description I was obsessed, I need it to read it and let me tell you It did not disappoint.

This is the story of Alex Claremont- Diaz and Prince Henry of Wales. And how one disaster event led to a romantic tale between both of them, but what happenes when the relationship can put U.S./British relationships at risk. Is it worth  fighting for or is better to walk away?

This a a hilarious and romantic story, that not only gives you the swoony moments, the thrilling moments or the funny moments, but also touch base on plolitics and how a world would look like if we had a woman as the U.S. president , it touches your heart as right now we don’t necessarily live in the ideal political world, but it paints you a picture that I hope one day we can achieve.

The characters were all amazing,  protagonists and side characters they all had their charm that add depth to the story. The writing was great and overall this story is great for fans of rom-com stories, that just want to read about two great people and how their love overcomes everything. This is a debut novel by Casey Mcquiston I honestly cannot wait to continue reading whatever other great story she give us.
