I always had a soft spot for Ben because he was always a bit different from his siblings. Especially from a family that had the aura that they were larger than life so when he was announced as the character who will be opening the Cobalt Empire series I was both excited but also intrigued of how his story will played out, because if anyone follows KB Ritchie Addictedverse you know when was dealing with some heavy stuff. I have to say I love his story it was the perfect opening for the cobalt series, One thing that I love about Krista and Becca is how they create a wonderful world of characters and their dynamics and this one not the exception, Burn Bright is such an emotional but comfort read, the romance between Ben and Harriet was perfect couldn’t have pick a better girl for Ben, but the cherry on top was the Cobalts siblings love and care for Ben and each other, it was amazing to read how each sibling is different but will burn bright for each other.
Overall this an amazing story it was fun but it was also emotional, the growth of both Ben and Harriet go through was amazing to read, the family dynamic, the friendships are all very KBR coded. I can’t wait to read more about the Cobalt siblings, this is for sure going to be a fantastic series, especially Tom & Phoenix story which was announced as the next book. Oh and KBR please give us BeckettLeoJo that scene with Beckett and Leo was perfection.
