This is the story of Rhett and Aiden two very different characters yet same in some ways Both have complicated history as their families are business rivals that have cause some issues between them that have led to some animosity but you know what they say there is thin line between love and hate.
I love the story after reading Depths of desire I couldn’t wait to read this one especially because rivals to lovers are one of my favorite tropes and I was not disappointed the chemistry Rhett and Aiden had was hot, the banter was also so good; it was definitely fun, fast paced story in my opinion low angst and medium heat, it was a perfect afternoon read for me. The tiny bit complain I had is that I wish it had some extra chapters there were some moments that were only mentioned and wish we had been able to read them especially because it was the last book and wanted more couple moments also there was mention of of D/s kink that was mentioned but was not explored which was bit disappointing because the little bit scene we had was so good. But overall the book was amazing and loved it I just wanted that bit extra but this definitely was a good story to end an amazing series. I will definitely missed the characters.
