This is one of the most beautiful yet painful stories i have read, it packs a mean punch but
Believe me when I say you will enjoy every bit of it
Since Briar announced The Island i was intrigued by it, I knew it was going to hurt but I also knew
I was getting a beautiful story and I wasn’t wrong, this is a slow burn from beginning to end, even when you think all is well, it will still keep you on the edge of your seat but believe when i say is so good that you won’t mind one bit. Briar has a way of shattering your heart, pulling those emotions out but then make it all better.
I can’t dive to much into the plot because it will give away much of the story but I can say
That Dylan and Adrain love story is messy, is painful, but is also sweet and magical and so perfect. And no matter what anyone say I do believe they were destined to be together and fate played a hand in bringing them together one way or the other because Dylan deserved to be happy and his happiness was Adrian.
Overall this book was amazing all the roller coaster of emotions I felt throughout this story were 100% worth it, the only tiny thing I wish is that i needed at least 2 or 3 more chapters because I wanted more Adrian and Dylan but that’s just a plus that i wanted. If you love slow burns, the yearning, the craving then you need to read this story is perfect even if you don’t love them please pick it up you won’t regret it.
