The Liar’s Reckoning- August Jones ARC review

You know those kinds of book that you absolutely love but they put you through the worst pain, they stress you out but then they make you love them so much that you don’t care. If you don’t know them; I got the best story for you let me introduce you to Silas and Graham.

The liar’s reckoning is about Silas a doorman but also an escort and Graham a Republican senator.  if you been following the Doorman of the upper east side series then you know their story has been brewing slowly, you get bits and pieces throughout the series but is not until The Sinner’s sanctuary that you get a bigger look into their relationship but not fully, now is time for them to tell their story and how much it takes to get that HEA.

This book is so dang god but my goodness my emotions were on a roller coaster. If you think you know them think again because the bits we had from both Silas and Graham are nothing , they are both so different than what i thought they would be especially Graham he was such pleasant surprise I adored him and wanted so bad for him to get his HEA because he deserved to bad to be happy; As well Silas he worked so hard for his family and sacrifice so much. But their story is not your typical romance is real is raw and is painful but in the best possible way of that makes sense both characters go through so much, they put each other through so much but know that while the ride is painful the end is sweet . And you will love, swoon and maybe hate them but that’s what I love about August that she delivers the most unique and unexpected stories that you become hooked on them.

This definitely one of the best book of the year and the epic finale of one of the best series I ever read. I usually shy away from many tropes that this series had but August wrote her characters and their stories in such away that you couldn’t help to love them.  I can’t wait for what August Jones has in store next because I will be definitely be waiting with open hands.
